U. S. History I and II are one-credit, year-long courses which meet the district social studies requirement for graduation. The courses focuse on an analysis of important concepts, events, and people in the American experience. Students will examine the social, political, geographic, and economic forces that have shaped the United States from 1865 to the present. Through historical films, readings, field trips and activities, history is brought to life, and its impact on our daily lives is addressed.

These courses are in compliance with the district graduation requirements for U S History.
All students are required to complete one year of U.S. History for graduation.
