Construction

The Construction Technology program provides a realistic work environment for students. While learning basic and advanced construction skills, students also learn customer relations, problem-solving, estimating, safety and applied academics. Students complete modules in carpentry, basic electrical wiring and plumbing, which provide a foundation to careers in the construction industry. Professionals are brought into the classroom to present workshops and provide demonstrations. Basic math and language arts are integrated into the curriculum. Field trips are a part of the program.

The Bollman Construction Technology program partners with Associated Builders and Contractors to provide interested students with job shadows and internships. Students successfully completing the Wheels of Learning curriculum will have their training documented in the National Center for Construction Education and Research Registry.
