Criminal Justice
 

The Criminal Justice program teaches the fundamentals of the criminal justice system and criminal justice skills. It offers a foundation in criminal law, legal procedures, criminal evidence and criminology. Areas of study include law enforcement, the courts and corrections. The following ITT general education course requirements are incorporated into the program: Introduction to Computing, Strategies for the Technical Professional, Problem Solving, and College Math. Students are eligible for transferable credit at ITT based on the inclusion of these general education courses. General education classes are taught one per quarter in rotation with the criminal justice courses. Students will learn about the legal system and law enforcement standards to help them develop technical skills used in today’s criminal justice environment.


Counseling Notes:

  1. Class meets at ITT on 84th & Washington

  2. Students must provide their own transportation. (RTD monthly passes may be purchased at BTEC)

  3. Class meets for 2 hours daily

  4. Transferable credit is available to students continuing at ITT after graduation
