Med Prep

Interested in pursuing a career in the medical or health fields? The Medical Preparation Program can get you started!

MedPrep provides students general workplace skills and specific health industry knowledge that can assist them in attaining employment in a variety of entry level positions within health care settings or continue their education at the post-secondary level. Upon completion of the MedPrep program, students are eligible to take the state exam to become a certified Nurses Aide.

MedPrep is for serious students with a long-term goal of employment in the medical field; a strong program commitment is essential for success. Students will complete one to two hours of nightly homework, actively participate in the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), and volunteer both individually and as part of HOSA community service.
