Would you like to know how PC’s work and be able to maintain your PC or someone else’s? Computer Technician A+ may be for you. This one-hour course provides an introduction to PC’s and a foundation for further study in the computer field.
Students should have a desire to learn about computer repairs or want to gain a working knowledge of computers for their future. Topics covered will include servicing, upgrading and troubleshooting computers and operating systems. Students completing this course will be eligible to take the A+ Certification exam.

Prerequisite: Interested students should be a sophmore or higher with at least a 9th grade reading level and have a strong desire to learn about computers, and possess strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Students may concurrently enroll in Computer Technician A+ and any other Bollman Program.

This class can be taken concurrently with Network Technician Net+.

All students pre-registering for this class will be asked to complete a short application including teacher recommendation and a short essay.

A class fee of $15.00 will be charged to all students accepted into the program.
