Network Technician Net+ is a one-hour class, which prepares students to handle problems they will face with network hardware and software when servicing, upgrading and configuring the local PC and laser printers.

• Learn to use server software from Microsoft and Linux

• Troubleshooting of networking hardware and software problems

• Work experience on a small local area network

• Students are eligible to take the Net+ Certification exam

• Students will also repair, upgrade, service, and network community and school computers.

Counseling Notes:

1. This class can be taken concurrently with Computer Technician-A+.

2. Students may concurrently enroll in Network Technician –Net + and any other Bollman Program.

3. A Class fee of $15.00 will be charged to all students accepted into the program.

4. Minimum of a 9th grade reading level
